Stephen completed the Advertising Art program at Red River College in Winnipeg, Manitoba, and spent a few years honing his skills as a graphic designer. This self taught illustrator has not only had his illustrations published in such magazines as Profit, Bike, CMA, Winnipeg Women's Magazine and Exclaim but also has numerous advertising applications to his credit.   Now, Stephen is living in Mississauga, Ontario, and is working on his recent paintings that focus on the single celled organisms inside us all. These mixed media digital images portray the health, biological and genetic issues that our bodies experience in modern life. They are simplified petry dish snap-shots of our deepest efforts to stay healthy. Their microscopic struggles mimic our larger scale selves, one idea at a time.
